Library

We have a growing research library at 400 South Main Street.  Parking is available and our facility is handicap accessible.

The library receives reference materials for Oklahoma and many other states.  We have microfilm of the Broken Arrow Ledger from 1904 through September 30 of 1998.  We have an extensive Civil War collection, many CD's with genealogical information such as vital statistics, census, family genealogies, etc.  We also carry forms to help you with your research, such as family charts, pedigree charts, Census transcription forms, Oklahoma birth and death applications, and an instruction sheet on "How to register as a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma."  We also have a computer, Wi-Fi internet for personal laptop or devices, AND access to Ancestry.com.

Hours of Operation:

The library is open to the public on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from

10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  A donation of $3.00 is requested for special openings.

The library will be closed when Broken Arrow Schools are closed for bad weather.
